Moxa launches the IA261/262, a new series of RISC-based embedded computers

Powerful embedded computing platform
The IA261/262 computers use the Cirrus Logic EP9315 ARM9 CPU. This powerful computing engine supports useful communication functions, but will not generate too much heat. The 32 MB Flash ROM and 128 MB SDRAM give you enough memory to run your application software directly on the IA261/262.

Multiple connection options
The IA261/262 computers support RS-232/422/485, CANbus (IA262), digital I/O, and dual LAN ports, making them ideal as communication platforms for industrial applications. In addition, the VGA output is perfect for process monitoring, which require VGA and HMI features.

Windows CE 6.0 pre-installed
The IA261/262 computers come with Windows CE 6.0, and support .NET 2.0 computing environments. Therefore, programs developed for standard PC operating systems with tools such Embedded Visual C++ or Visual Studio 2005 can run on the IA261/262 without much porting effort.
