Enclosures
Elma offers chassis in the Shelf, Pico, and Cube format for single or double modules. The sizes range from 1U to 8U with backplanes in Star and Dual Star format. Elma’s modular design allows great flexibility in module types (compact, mid, full sizes) and chassis configurations. Single or redundant cooling is available. Custom designs are available.
MicroTCA Accessories
Elma has announced new AMC Air Baffle/Filler Boards. These boards fill unused slots and act as an air baffle to redirect and improve airflow inside the enclosure. Also new are AMC Extender Boards, which extend signals outside of the card cage so that the system can be tested or debugged. An AMC Load Board helps test the cooling and power of the MicroTCA system. It is configurable to 7 wattages and provides IPMI and JTAG support.
MicroSlim Shelf™
Elma’s 1U MicroTCA chassis offers 10 Modules slots in a 1U height. The chassis allows 6 AMCs (single module/ mid size) a 380 watt plug-in PSU (single-width/full-size), 4 tongue MCH (single-width/full-size) and JSM (J-TAG Switch Module in single width/2HP). The chassis comes stand-alone or as a fully integrated solution.
